If it is a no-fault state if you are involved in an accident, your insurance company will should pay for the injured driver and his passengers regardless of who is at fault.  If you do not have health insurance it is good to purchase personal injury protection coverage. Those with health insurance can get the medical expenses taken care of by the health insurance.

The most recommended auto insurance coverage is the liability coverage is this is mandatory in most states. Each state requires that you carry minimum liability auto insurance as you are expected to be financially responsible for driving on the roads. It is advisable to take more than the minimum that you can afford as medical expenses and cost of repairs to vehicles can be very high. If the damages cost more than what your insurance covers, you may end of being slapped with a lawsuit.

Collision coverage takes care of your car repairs if you get hit by uninsured driver.  Uninsured and underinsured coverage is not required if you have medical insurance already. If you have personal injury protection coverage provided by your employer, you need not buy a separate PIP insurance. It is a good idea to increase your deductibles so that your premiums are less.

Generally personal injury protection coverage of auto insurance will pay for the following
